Though they were wrong, as mining has been made a tradition in our generations, making Diamonds easily accessible not only to businesses, but to the common folk as well. |
Overview[]
Diamond is a fairly uncommon ore that spawns within 400m and 1200m, and one of the few ores dropped by Zombies. It is required to upgrade a variety of Base Stations, as well as being a crafting requirement for the Diamond Pickaxe and the Newtonium Pickaxe.
It is recommended to save up Diamonds for later Mining Operations upgrades. Between Mining Operations level 15 through 19, a grand total of 1500 Diamonds is required. These upgrades can currently be used to obtain the Constellatium Pickaxe and the Antimatter Buster Pickaxe recipes.

They possess the highest hardness and thermal conductivity of any natural material, thus making them very valuable for their industrial applications. The color of a diamond indicates whether it has impurities (yellow, blue), defects (brown), or if it was exposed to radiation (green).
