Gold is a fairly common ore spanning from 5m to 1000m that awards 50 XP when mined.Gold is mainly used to craft two pickaxes, the Gold Pickaxe and the Guilded-Gold Pickaxe, as well as two upgrades for Data & Analysis. It is also one of the few ores that can be dropped by Zombies. It also is the most valuable common ore that spawns near the surface.

Base Stations[]
Gold is not as widely used in base stations as other materials of its kind, only requiring 80 overall for two Data & Analysis upgrades.
- Level 5: 30 Gold.
- Level 8: 50 Gold.
Pickaxes[]
As mentioned earlier, Gold can be applied to craft the Gold and Guilded-Gold pickaxes.
- Gold Pickaxe: 10 Gold.
- Guilded-Gold Pickaxe: 35 Gold.
